Halifax Cashback Extras - Beware (and does this apply to Lloyds too?)

The terms suggest that that might be the case, but:
Why does C(me) see offers when he hasn't used his card?
C asked (in branch) for online access to the account, not to a card. At that time the cards for C & D had not been issued.
I would contend that the POA means that I represent A and when I log on, I am A effectively. To further complicate things, I have 2 powers of attorney, so perhaps I'm B as well.
I would also contend that all joint account holders should be treated equally and that the restrictive terms in the FAQ are unfair.
I NEVER shop at Morrisons, and get a Morrisons offer almost every month. I shop in New Look maybe every other month, but the OH has never spent a penny there, and he gets New Look offers and I don't.
I think they watch your spend to give you offers that don't apply to you, as opposed to the other way round...
Also... In what way are joint account holders not treated equally??0 -
There's only a few retailers signed up.
So if you use your card in a supermarket, you'll probably get a Morrison's offer, as it's the only supermarket signed up.
I've never used my Halifax card in a supermarket, so I never get Morrison's, but it does look as if they make some sort of effort to match your spending habits. I used my card in Costa, and the following week I got a Starbucks offer. When I used my card in Boots, the next week I got a Body Shop offerEarly retired - 18th December 2014

Perhaps if they see you spending at Asda, Sainsburys, etc they will try to entice you to switch to Morrisons. That would make good business sense for their sponsor (presumably Morrisons)
If you already shop at Morrisons, it's not worthwhile to give you a Morrisons offer.Also... In what way are joint account holders not treated equally??
Referring back to my earlier posts on this thread, it seems that when I log in, I am not C, I am A. A's name appears at the top right of the screen. I believe A would get the cashback if I click on an offer. Still no worthwhile offers though.0
