    Looks like Tenant will never be happy
    Time for tenant to buy a place of there own !
    Sort out repairs themselves and paint property any colour they like,
    Sort all repairs out straight away with any help from Landlord

    I agree with previous poster. A good landlord/tenant relationship relies on both parties being amicable and helpful. I know it's not MY job to repaint the fence, but it's not a big deal so I do it. The same goes for the majority of the jobs in the house. In fact we've only ever called the landlord when a window needed replacing. As such, the landlord likes us because he knows we are looking after his home, and he leaves us to it, as we always pay the rent on time. Win/win. He gets his rent paid and we get our home to live in as we wish. Not that difficult really.

    they can never buy again. They owned a house sold it /part exchanged on a new build at the peak off the market.
    Both lost there jobs within a year ,there house was repo .He says they are repaying the loan ,I dont believe him .
