It might say something in the book that came with it .

There might be a wifi key on the keyboard.

you can click on network connections in control panel ..see if wifi is available.

you can go search for devices by going through control panel - devices .then look for wifi.

Not sure what else ..I am pretty sure it would just prompt you if it was in and turned on.

Do you have a make and model number of the new computer?

It helps in the it makes me think it was built for you.

If the listing or advert you saw it being sold on does not say with wifi then it more than likely has no wifi.

Thanks for that, are you able to suggest a suitable adapter I could get?

the one I posted a link to on amazon will connect through one of your usb 3 slots on your pc ..
It is pretty fast and I am happy for others to tell me it is overkill and that they link to a cheaper alternative.

either that or buy a card to slot inside the case ..but the usb is fairly simple to plug in and use ..just try to put it in the usb 3 slot as it will help with speed

Oh ..the motherboard you have does not come with wifi built in.

Ignoring the potential interference issues due to Spread Spectrum Clocking, USB3 won't make any odds where speed is concerned unless the OP has an internet connection that is greater than 480Mbps.
Understeer is when you hit a wall with the front of your car
Oversteer is when you hit a wall with the back of your car
Horsepower is how fast your car hits the wall
Torque is how far your car sends the wall across the field once you've hit it

The motherboard does not appear to have a Wi-Fi chip:

So you can use the USB device already linked above or get a PCI card if you have space.

However if you can run a cable to your router I'd recommend that option as that will give you significantly faster speeds than your wireless will.
