I respond again saying that can they organise delivery since I dont want to be out of pocket
As a seller I would be grumbled at this.
As far as I am aware, sellers do not have to organise or pay for return postage, although on occasion it is worth doing to keep a customer happy.
If you choose to say this to a seller you are almost asking for a difficult time, I wonder what else happened along the way to warrant you with a ban?0 -

Distance selling regulations state
Any terms and conditions that say you must cover the cost of returning an item wouldn’t apply where the goods being returned are faulty.
Did you just assume I wanted to return it? If it was NOT faulty I would not ask for a label or something to return and I know from past experiences with online shopping many companies will give you a returns label if asked0 -

Ebay rules do not trump the law although enforcing it is harder.
Sorry for cross posting0 -
Thi sis all digressing really as he said he returned the item by collect plus, however, there is a problem there:no response but as I cannot return for a few days I send back Collect+, item is delivered next morning, 2 days later no word from seller
Collect+ don't do next day delivery, it's a slow service, so either you are giving us the wrong information which makes it harder to help you, or you really did expect it to get there next day. How do you think the seller would feel when you send something one day and start hammering them with emails for an answer the next.
I can't help wonder if this sort of unrealistic and idealistic expectations has got you opening so many cases and eventually into trouble with eBay?Warning: any unnecessary disclaimers appearing under my posts do not bear any connection with reality, either intended, accidental or otherwise. ballistic Brian, collect+ now offer a faster service which does often deliver the next morning.
If I was the buyer now, I'd pop down the CAB, and get some help writing a letter before action. Make sure to include the tracking details showing it's eek delivered to them.0 -
When you say the seller didn't respond to messages- do you mean they didn't reply at all - or didn't give you an appropriate response.and if they didn't reply at all how long before you opened case.0

We send 50-60 items a month through Collect Plus via the economy service (3-5day), approx 10% arrive the next day. I imagine for the standard service this would be higher.ballisticbrian wrote: »Collect+ don't do next day delivery, it's a slow service, so either you are giving us the wrong information which makes it harder to help you, or you really did expect it to get there next day. Just because they give an estimated time it doesn't mean they can't be quicker. However most companies take at least 24hrs to process returns and refunds can often take longer, depends how big a seller this was really. The OP just says they asked if everything was okay, doesn't mention 'hammering' them!!!0 -
So, in a nut shell, they don't offer a next day service, it's just a gamble that a few might get there quicker?
So lets now get back on subject.Warning: any unnecessary disclaimers appearing under my posts do not bear any connection with reality, either intended, accidental or otherwise. Your statutory rights are not affected.0
