Of course, but Distance Selling Regulations can only apply when the seller is a business.

This is on ebay though so buyers have the full ebay guarantee regardless of seller status. There is no mention of them doing a claim based on DSRs

Even if it was a private sale done remotely I think there would be a good chance of a win at small claims as even private sellers are not allowed to misrepresent items for sale that a buyer can not inspect before payment. DSRs might not apply but other laws do like the sale of goods act. OP states item was faulty, therefore even with a business seller he is not using DSRs to get a refund.

Sorry, it was for a business seller.

Claim was still open so I contacted again and they closed it there and then saying I was no longer covered by the guarantee.

I do not care as much about the suspension more the loss of £1200!

Simple question- if you send ebay or paypal the tracking details can *they* see it has been delivered? I don't quite follow what you mean by clickable links.

No, it shows as greyed out rather than a link that you can click that takes you to delivery, so you would have to go to the courier website and put tracking in manually

So I should have ignored my refund that livechat
told me was being processed and I got 2 days later? WHY?

Your repeated sniping at me is making me laugh. You're determined to try to pick an argument..try ebay sniping instead to get it out of your system.

Not at all, not my wish at all. But as you obviously feel otherwise. my apologies if you were not actually wrong in any posts I drew attention to. Livechat delivered for me and I thought it worth mentioning as you said ignore what they say in four words with absolutely NO explanation. I gave an alternative view.

If Ebay are unwilling to help, then small claims court?
