As Ifonic asked you to sign new permission forms for them(which you refused) , I would be inclined to question whether you are under contract to them?

    Perhaps best to phone MOJ?

I'm not sure if naming companies is ok,
    It absolutely is okay.
Personal messages only benefit the individual poster, but using the public forum names and shames these shysters.

Are you perhaps inviting PMs as part of some professional service you are offering? This is against the terms and conditions of this website.

    Thank you all.
The number on the original agreement was CRM24389.
I note the date they had surrendered their authority was before I had any contact from Britannia re an offer.
Thanks I will ring MOJ as the new company has left another message telling I must ring them on Tuesday morning as it a matter of great importance! They are not going to leave me alone.
Thank you all for help I feel much more informed.

This was Cerys-Angharad Limited (T/A Get Claiming and Ifonic Claims) but they share the same Princess House address as Ifonic PLC. This business address is notorious as being used by dozens of CMCs and their phoenix companies.

You need to check your original contract to see if it has an assignment clause that allows it to sell the contract to a third party.

Also do you have the permission forms that the new company asked you to sign?

When you call the MOJ don't mess around with general enquiries, ask for the direct number of the compliance officer for Cerys-Angharad Limited (Chris Woods) at the CMR unit at Staffordshire Trading Standards and if they won't give it to you let me know - I have it.

Yes it says on contract that they can assign or subcontract to a third party providing it doesn't prejudice my rights!!!
Yes I still have permissions forms as I refused to sign them.
Thanks for your help I will ring on Tuesday am.
