Is this forum only about the house price crash? - I better ask Martin to delete all none related threads.
I want to worry about something that has happened.
So if you anything helpful to say about my question, that would be great.
Anyone??
Don't get drawn into the marketing bullsh1t.
If you like the house and are happy with what you paid for it, that's all that matters.
Whether it was sold as a "link-detached", or a "town house" or a "mews" property, whatever. It's all bullsh1t.
Don't worry about it.0 -
Your a linked detached, they are a linked detached with a garage conversion.

I just completed today and i have just moved.
In the past week my neighbour had a garage conversion done.
Need some advice:
1) Does this alter the definition of the property - i.e is it still class as a link detached.
2) Shouldn't my solictor informed myself about any planning application during process of the purchase (i can only assume the neighbour got permission a while back)
Thanks
Sorry just noticed the question..
Read up on the party wall act..the answers will be there...0 -

Ask your solicitor about the matter. You have just paid him/her a load of money and they should know the answer.
Sometimes on new builds there are clauses that say you are not allowed to convert your garage to a room. I know my friend was refused permission in her 4 year old Barratt house, but some of her neighbours had already so she was puzzled. All to do with minimum number of parking spaces per house.~Laugh and the world laughs with you, weep and you weep alone.~:)
