Mine is a leco aspira which is a hoover as well, the reason I bought it - it cleans up after itself. £400 odd of cleaning up after itself. :o

Personally I have an issue with multi function things, ie, if one part goes wrong you've lost the use of the lot in many cases.
Which is why I'd never have a washer/dryer;)

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

I have the big Polti Eco Pro as well. It's the dogs but like all steam cleaners, just moves the dirt around.

The trick is also to have a flat mop available, and you can then steam and clean as you go ! (providing you are familiar with the procedure)

Yes of course it is, I'm pretty certain anything under £200 is a lottery choice.

Do you have an link or model No?

Thanks but no thanks, given my previous experience with Vax, detailed in the opening post, I won't be having another from them.

It is also about 1/2 the price of the 1 that just went back, and also it seems out of stock too.
But thanks for trying, the jury is still out on what to get.

This is my one, got it last June and I'm very pleased with it. I use it every week, and it's been great so far.

Well this thing seems set to go on and on.

    Update;
Bought a polti, not a massive 1 just the vaporetto "pocket"

She took on look at it, said it's got no wheels on?, (which it hadn't)

You sling it over your shoulder was my reply.
She filled it with water, picked it up and put it back down again.

Hers words to me were, to the effect of *^&$£*** you expect me to*&%$&%(%£ with that on my back!:mad::mad:

At this point I threw a slight wobbly, disolved myself of all responsibility and left her to it.

It went back to amazon the day it arrived.
I refused to get involved any further so her and out daughter went of to the high street, fed up with online returns and came back with a morphy richards floor mop.
Must admit it looked a more robust unit than the other mops
But that's were the good news ends, it only steams sporadically and then only weakly, about 1 press in 20 gets the intended jet of steam.
That was last thing last night, it went back this morning.

I'm beginning to develop a complex about these things:eek:
