Plasma or LED Samsung tv

Hello all, Our 8 year old tv has finally died so I'm looking for a replacement. I'd like to stick with Samsung and I'm torn between a 42 inch Plasma PS43F4500 at £280 or an LED UE42F5000 at £360. The LED is Full HD and the Plasma is just HD ready but will this make much of a difference? We use Freesat HD and have a blu-Ray…

I'd have upgraded at least twice in that time;). That said, I do have a 9 year old Samsung LCD still running. It's in the shed for when I'm banished there.:D It was the last model made with decent sound and the first one I owned, so while it still works it'll have a place somewhere...:)
Next upgrade due soon....It'll have to be 4K.....Just because I want it...:T
