Best time to book an Haven holiday - now or nearer the time

We've promised the kids we'd try our best to book a little holiday this year. We didn't have much luck with the sun holidays
. When would we get the best prices booking direct with Haven? Do we do it now or leave it until nearer the time? I need 4th or 24th August as these are the weeks I have booked off work.

Well last year the holiday I booked went up between January when I booked and going in August. This year I've book in jan again and already booked for 2015 so got longer to pay it.Have a Bsc Hons open degree from the Open University 2015 :j:D:eek::T0

Personally, I'd avoid Haven like the plague after our first and last experience last year. Do you really want your kids exposed to parents that think it's ok to use the 'F' word directly at their kids, trust me we're talking chav central, Swimming pools are only open for a limited time during the day as free sessions, numbers are limited and it's first come first served, any other sessions have to be paid for like most of the so called activities and everything on site is very expensive. We booked a Deluxe Plus caravan, which is mid range, I'd really hate to see what a Standard caravan was like as the Deluxe Plus was very basic. Personally, unless you've got some Sun £9.99 vouchers, don't waste your money.I hate football and do wish people wouldn't keep talking about it like it's the most important thing in the world0

This thread might be of interest but I'm hoping for someone else to have the last codeword or two
Booking for August would have to be fast though.

I don't know what site you went to but in my experience at the 6 sites i have been to the pools have been open all day for free, the food is on par with local "wetherspoon" type pubs for both price and quality. And you get the type of people you refer to as chavs in every holiday resort, both here and abroad.Never put off till tomorrow what you can do today!
Cos if you do it today and like it...You can do it again tomorrow..
