    Sorry if anyone else has posted this {i haven't had time to read all replies} could you look into getting some tiny bells so that he can hear them as he sprinkles them so it's not just a visual thing? I know this creates a trip/slip hazard but surely there's some variation to be found that makes it possible?

    I agree and tiny bells will be in the bag. I plan to make the bag tomorrow but think they are away this weekend so won't see him until later.
