I have to say that the PO ain't that great.
However, I'll forgive them in light of the "Shell company" (ie. a company which is a member of the Shell group), versus a "shell company" (a company which has no substance) misunderstanding.0 -
I suspect 'shell company' doesn't mean what you think it means, OP.
anyhow, vote with your wallet - by all means pay a different supplier for a different service. Most couriers are significantly dearer, and don't have the same service obligations. And the Post Office and Royal Mail are not the same thing, just for reference0 -

But you could always see if a Premier Inn will put you up and try again to deliver tomorrow........'Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.' George Carlin0 -
Can I use my shell fuel save card to buy one stamps0

Do you think the local subway close to the delivery location will give a free sample of meatballs?0

I think I'd agree with that, paddyrg.
But 'shell company' certainly doesn't mean what Emz11 thinks it means either. :rotfl:i am boycotting Shell after the way they treated an elderly lady and refused to comply with simple uk laws. i did not know they also own the post office i will avoud them to.
I notice she is continuing to refer to her 62 year old mother as 'elderly'.0 -
I'm going to boycott people called Geoffrey.0
