We have the use of an apartment over xmas and new year so need flights to Goa on or around 19th Dec (not before) and return any time before 5th Jan....I'm struggling to find many direct flights...tried Monarch, Thomas Cook and Air India....anyone have any other suggestions please?? We can fly from Manchester or London

  • Leaving LGW 20/12/14, return leaving on 4/01/2015, £1605 per person.

Basically, you have to take an indirect.

    London-GOI with Qatar via Doha
or any number or airlines via an Indian Metro (Big city)

    Or
London to Mumbai, Delhi or Bangalore with BA, Jet, Virgin or Air India and then a low cost onwards to Goa.

Much more comfortable than a Monarch charter

Thomson do non-stop flights - but they aren't (usually) cheap, probably even less so now they have announced that they are doing 'free' drinks for economy class on their long-haul flights.

Obviously Xmas/New year is a very busy time and flights are in demand as soon as they are released.

    Have you tried Skyscanner?

By 'direct' do you mean non-stop?

If so, that would be Thomson or Thomas Cook.
Thomson have just announced that they are offering free drinks in economy class for their long-haul routes.
