Collecting miles - deposit to Moneybookers / Gambling?!

I've been approved to the Virgin card, and also pending approval for the BA Amex card.
I was wondering, can I use such card to deposit money into Moneybookers and then withdraw it back to the bank? Will it count as miles?
I know Moneybookers is charging fees for using the card, but if you deposit to a gambling website it's okay, so perhaps I can use it with a gambling website, look for 1.005 odds, deposit and withdraw, in order to collect miles - is this a good way of collecting miles? I can also use Marathonbet where they charge 1% if you bet on 2 sides, so 1000 miles can cost 10 pounds this way, is it worth it?
What about depositing to trading websites, Tradefair, anything? My wife wants me to collect miles but I'm not sure what would be the best way to do so?
Also I'm quite against gambling, it can become addictive and it's dangerous, and also sometimes bookmakers don't payout neither or trick you etc.
What do you think is the best way to collect miles?

Gambling is a definite no:eek:0 -
Gambling is a definite no:eek:
What's the reason?
I can deposit 1000 GBP, get 1000 miles, then withdraw the 1000 GBP back to my account. If I have to "play" with it I either try extremely low odds or just lose 1%-2%.
I can also bet on an outcome of an event that would be cancelled. For example some bookmakers void Tennis bets if one player retires, so if I see it, I just "bet on purpose" on this outcome, then the bet is void and then I can take out the money as I already placed a bet so for money laundering purposes I can take it out and I lose not even a single pound.0 -

Triple check the CC's allow these deposits as qualifying.
Some do, most don't IIRC.
If you intend to gamble then read very carefully their rules etc.0 -
gambling 99% of the time is a cash advance, therefore you would accrue interest from day 1 and any cash advance fee, usually around 3%.

This + American Express has completely banned gambling transactions on their network, so your not going to be using the BA amex.0 -

You'd still get the 3% cash advance fee.0 -
