Apply here for a free 2 month Friends and Family Railcard.
I do this every year to get a discount on my annual one.

Thanks! This is perfect timing for me. I used my Tesco vouchers to get a F&F railcard last year and it's about to expire but I don't yet have enough vouchers for another one. This should see me through until I do.

Do the children travelling have to be over the age of 5?

Children under 5 can travel on the railcard. You just have to buy a ticket for them. We do it with out 4 year old, even did it when he was 3. It still works out cheaper :) xx

    Hi,

I don't quite understand the T&Cs for this Rail Card.

Can someone please explain them to me. For example, no. 4 in the T&Cs states:

"If the named holders travel separately, only one of the holders may use the Railcard."

Does this mean I can travel alone with my railcard and still use the discounted ticket price?

Also, when applying it asks how many children will I usually travel with. My answer is 0 but this isn't an option. Do you have to travel with children to use the card?

I just want to get them for myself and my Fiance.

    Thanks.

These are family and friends railcards, you have to travel with children to get the discount.
If you travel together mostly a 2 Together card can be bought, but these aren't free.
