Egypt Currency Advice/ Tipping

Hiya all,
I was lucky enough to win a holiday to Savoy in Sharm next week with Magic FM
We are staying All Inclusive and will not be doing any trips outside of our resort as we have a 1 yr old coming with us on her first holiday
So I going with the assumption that I would really only need money for tips and saw a post on Trip Advisor stating to not pay more than 1 Egyptian Pound in tips for drinks and around 10-15 LE to the waiter at our meals
Does this sound about right?
We are going for 7 days
So just wondering how much roughly people think we will need to take

For tips, take a bag of British £1 coins. What you have stated is what we gave although if you give a few pound on your 1st night, that waiter/barman will look after you all week.
Not sure if it's covered by your competition but you need to pay for a visa when you arrive at the airport and they charge it in GBP too. I think it's about £15 each so take money for that just in case.0 -
You only have to pay for a Visa if you are going to be travelling out of the Sinai region i.e go to the Pyramids.
Bought is to buy. Brought is to bring.0 -
Thanks so its best to tip £1 rather than 1 Egyptian Pound, is it per drink or per night?
Really looking forward to it, can avoid the rain I have had today!!July 2015 Wins- Shaun The Sheep Goody Bag, 4x Books

We just tipped per night then that waiter would look out for you next night
We went to Hurghada so maybe it's just there that charges for a visa.0
