I signed up about 8 years ago with Orange to a up to 8mb speed that originally came with 2nd line, and my mobile contract had to be a for £30 a month contract (back then) all for £5 a month for life deal, i have discovered today that they are INCREASING this to £12 a month.
I am going to fish out the letter stating that i have £5 for life on the letter i got with my router info and email it to them, as i have complained to a manager.
If i am unsuccessful I will be looking to go elswhere i have my landline with BT. What is BT Infinity like i am not too fussed about having a landline, it's only for incoming calls which aren't many and for this broadband.
I need something for a HEAVY user as i stream a lot when i do have the time for this. and i'm planning to get one of those Roku sets.
Thank you for your suggestions.

You do not need a super-duper connection to stream a lot. A bog standard ADSL 2 line will suffice. If there are three or four of you wanting to stream then you may need an upgrade - but a single user can stream twenty-four hours a day on a standard line.0

What a sweeping statement that is. Its different for everyone. The above website will clarify the situation for the OP.0 -
