Checking gas usage

I have spoken to BG and they advised me to turn everything off for a day or two to check that my gas isn't being diverted elsewhere. (I have to use the immersion and the microwave - oh well!)
If the meter stops, I will have it checked (£61.55). If it doesn't stop, the thick will plotten.
(My boiler is serviced regularly by BG Homecare. )
