My wife and I went shopping and parked on this car park as we have done for years. two weeks later we received a £90 fine for parking for 2.5 hours on this car park, reduced to £50 if we pay within 14 days. It used to be 3 hours but since Home Bargains took over the old MFI premises they changed it. I did not see any signage saying the free parking time had been reduced. When we got the charge notice we sent an appeal using the forum letter recommended on this thread. Don't worry about paying within the time frame as it is frozen while your appeal is considered. We waited for 5 days then received the below email from Total Parking Solutions. DO NOT PAY THIS CHARGE NOTICE! Our appeal was a success thanks to this forum.

Dear Sir,

Thank you for your correspondence. With reference to the Charge Notice issued to the above vehicle, after reviewing our data and in view of the representations made in connection with its issue, we can confirm that we have decided to cancel this Notice and no further action is to be taken.
