Emigrating to Sydney in June :rotfl: and just wondered if there is a :money: counterpart Down Under? Would love to keep on money saving!

There used to be pomsonaplane, but don't know if it is still going, I know my sister was forever on it !


Haven't spoken to her in ages, will ask her when we chat next. She lives just outside Sydney herself, been over there , maybe 20 years and loves it. She lives in a place called Terrigral ( thinks that is what it's spelled like) You get more for your money further north of Sydney, think she is about 1 hour outside Sydney.

My youngest son who emigrated to Brisbane two years ago (and loves it) posts quite a lot on pomsinoz. Well worth a look. Bobinoz is also good.

Www.ozbargain.com.au is about the best I've found, unfortunately nothing like MSE. for expat sites as ell as pomsinoz there is https://www.britishexpats.com

Where in Sydney are you off to? I lived over there for six months on a working holiday visa, worked in Redfern and lived in Neutral Bay and then Ashfield.

Not sure yet as OH lateral entry to Aus Navy -they give temporary accom' till we find somewhere.

We just moved back last year. There is no MSE equivalent. To be honest I still used this site tho as so many places ship to OZ now and for those that don't mum used to post stuff or bring out to us.
