HTC end of contract upgrade

Hi all,

I've an HTC One S, coming to the end of the contract.

Any suggestions please as to the best cheap upgrade? When I say cheap I do not want to pay more than I am now.

Currently £16/m for:

• 200 minutes
• 500 texts
• unlimited internet

I do not use much internet but see no new contracts offering unlimited, maybe a good idea to stay on the same tariff?

Had a bit of a look around and the Motorola Moto G is getting good reviews and can be had for £12.50/m from Tesco Mobile, but only has a low 500mb internet allowance....

Buy it on PAYG (£4-£5 p.m. in terms of 24 months' contract) and use with ~£10 p.m. sim-only contract/PAYG (giffgaff, lyca, virgin, chitter-chatter).

Even better save money and keep your HTC.

Not sure how much I use as currently unlimited. However I read somewhere ('Which' I think) that the UK average is currently around 350mb/mth which appears quite low.

As it's 2 years old a change would be nice (although not necessary), also I could do with a larger screen size (my old eyes), current phone is 4.3".

In that case it might be worth you downloading an app like 3G Watchdog or similar from the Play Store. This wil let you see how much data you use.
