Applied to Bt for infinity, they've said there are not enough connectors at the cabinet for me to have infinity. Is it worth applying to some one else for fibre optic, would say EE have connectors not in use, or is it case if BT say no, I'm stuck on super slow broadband?

You could check with a provider that doesn't use the BT network if they are activated at your cabinet and have room.
You can use this tool to check who's available at your local exchange:

Some of the ones that don't use BT are Talktalk/Tiscali, Sky, O2 and of course Virgin.0 -
Thank you
Spoke to talk talk and sky, both convinced they can get me fibre optic. Gone with talk talk, installing on the 12th may so waiting with baited breath to see what happens!
Who would have thought moving to the centre of London and you'd be offered speeds of upto 4mbs!!!0 -
