Ah ok, I have already sent the letter off to UCS in Sun Street now.
I guess I just wait & see what they come back with now?
Send it to TNC as well.
And complain to the BPA and DVLA like there, this is wrong and you need to get a complaint in:
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4959313
Do not 'wait and see' - contact TNC and also email the BPA & DVLA (email addies are in post #6 of the NEBWIES FAQs thread on this parking board.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi, just a quick update.
I wrote to TNC and UCS at the end of April.
12a Sunstreet is not occupied by UCS, the company that currently occupies that address kindly returned my letter and informed me that nobody called UCS is at that address.
I actually do some work in that very street sometimes for one of my customers.
The letter I sent to TNC seems to have been ignored or not received and they have now sent me another letter threatening legal action. They also call my house phone every other day & leave messages telling me it's important that I call them.
I have today re-sent the original letter to TNC recorded delivery and explained the above.
Not sure how to complain to BPA & DVLA tho, or hat exactly I am complaining about?0 -
I am also having issues with these two firms.
I am about to send of my first appeal to both of them and have found this address for UCS. Its from the back of the windscreen NtD so should work.
UCS Parking Ltd
PO Box 12049,
Harlow,
Essex,
CM20 9LP.
Hope this helps.0 -
Good afternoon all,
Just received this letter from TNC today (below), it seems they have again completely ignored my repsponse. I sent them the letter from this thread.
Just 7 days to pay or litigation. I'm pretty sure 7 days is not sufficient for LBA, plus they haven't even considered, let alone offered a response to any of the points raised in my letter to them, I doubt a judge would like that.
So what's my next move? Shall I write back to them and include a copy of the letter above and remind them that litigation would be foolish given that they haven't even bothered to consider my argument?0 -
"We intend to recommend" - so definitely maybe then.0
-
Haha yes..
So shall I bother to respond then?0 -
Is it me or is this a bit odd.
On the BPA list of operators, there is listed :
TNC Management Ltd t/a TNC Collections http://www.tncgroupservices.com
Now I know this has the website as the same, but there is no TNC Parking Services listed.
It also refers to "unless our client receives...", suggesting TNC Parking Services are not the actual PCN.
Is this a letter like the Wonga ones purporting to be something it isn't or is it an LBA?
Edit: I have just read the small print, they are TNC management Limited, but trading under a different name not on the BPA list.
Should the new name be on the BPA website?Newbie thread: go to the top of this page and find these words: Main site > MoneySavingExpert.com Forums > Household & Travel > Motoring > Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking. Addresses for BPA and DVLA in the sticky at the top of the forum.
You complain to BPA that:
- You are being harassed by one of their members who never issued a NtD or sent a NtK
- According to Companies house their member is non-trading; you have also established that their registered address at companies house is incorrect.
You complain to DVLA that they have handed over your personal details to a company which never issued a NtD or sent a NtK, which according to Companies house is non-trading, and has an incorrect registered address at companies house.
As for TNC, just ignore them.Je suis Charlie.0 -
Guess my hunch as a bit out of date then. I think I need to go into hibernation till winter arrives...Newbie thread: go to the top of this page and find these words: Main site > MoneySavingExpert.com Forums > Household & Travel > Motoring > Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking.
