SSE Christmas Compensation
We were one of the thousands of unfortunates who were without power over Christmas last year.
We filled in and sent our compensation request just after the 27th December and for two months recieved regular calls to say thanks for the claim, we are woring towards rectification of this, but please be patient, you do not need to do anything else, we will be touch.
These calls stopped in February and whilst remaing patient, find ourselves at the end of April, with no further communication or payment.
I have rung a spoken to "an Advisor" who states that due to a higher number of claims than expected it is taking longer to process the payments....Even though their own performance standards and press releases state the this would all be sorted within 8 weeks!
I have complained via their complaints proceedure to the head of customer services, but after two weeks have recieved no response (states response will be within 5 working days)
So where to now? any other members experiencing this from the Christmas storms still?
