No, we're both British.
Maybe I wasn't clear in my first post. We lived in the UK until we moved to the Middle East for my husband's job 4 years ago. I've decided to return with the kids to get them back into the UK educational system. Despite being in a British school here, it's not quite the same due to local customs, etc0 -
Why would you come back to this dump?
Home sweet home. It was never a forever move just a way to pay the mortgage early and save some money. The UK is far from being a dump. I've lived in numerous countries, travelled extensively and there really is no place like home (warts and all). Sure, things could be better but the grass is definitely not greener.0
