Another in. Definitely on the naughty step this month but at the moment if anything can improve my happiness I will do it :D

Whimisical Lipstick from topshop :) don't have any nudey kind of lipsticks so that's my excuse !

Sorry to hear that you're having such a difficult time. I hope that the lipstick is very cheering :D

Dolly andsmartcat04 - :T on having no INs so far this month :)

I have two more UUs, one from my PP list :)

Bliss The Youth As We Know It Serum (30ml) - WDNBA. So glad this has gone! Also very glad that I only spent £7 on it in TKMaxx. (Think it's more like £47 normally ). Anyhow. It didn't do anything for me, was actually a bit harsh on my face so I've been using it up on my neck and now it has GONE. :j

Molton Brown Rhubarb and Rose Replenishing Hand Cream (S 7ml) - WNB as it wasn't nourishing enough. (Disappointed by this...)

UU #85: Gilette Venus 3 disposable razors; WBA, gave a good close shave and didn't go blunt too fast, sometimes I think I'd be better off with a garden strimmer than a razor :D I'm going to Aldi tomorrow and may pick up one of their triple blade "systems" instead of buying disposables, I had the dual blade one last year and liked it but I managed to break the head on it.

You could 'try' the Venus razor with Olay as it's on a try me free offer ;)

I have just got my internet working again after last nights super storms, completely zapped the router, memory card and blew up some wires, no idea what exactly the official term is, I just listened to the IT man who came to fix it! :p

Has anyone tried the new P&P serum, the advert looks great. I know some people on here test for B00ts (myself included) but did anyone try it and is it as good as they are making out? :p
I am tempted since there looks to be a bit of glitch on it at the moment, anything I can do to slow down the signs of ageing is good (not that I feel old but seeing friends and people I know younger than me with lines around their eyes and mouth makes me determined to try to prevent that happening for as long as possible to me :))
Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
Take time but don't waste time
  • Hi all! Hope you are all well,

    Happy belated Bithday Mcculloch!

My first UU of the month :j:j:j:j:j

Lancôme Gentle Clarifying and cleansing fluid 50ml

As far as cream cleansers go, this was great as it didn't irritate my skin at all! Still WNBA as I prefer wash off cleansers

I was going to come back and chunter on about Dermablend again as I thought I'd cracked it and was getting it to last but after a hard day of doing not very much at all, it's slid off my face again  I'd like it to be good, I'd accept it being bad but I can't be doing with inconsistency!

KT, I used to be a retail manager before I moved from Wales to the West Mids, but I struggled to find part-time work which didn't involve evenings or weekends so instead, I set up my own cleaning company. It's helluva boring :o BUT I can pick and choose the hours I work, I'm actually earning a higher hourly rate than I was in retail (something's wrong there!) and when I get home I'm not stressing over KPIs or bringing work back with me, unless you count having to clean my own home :rotfl:

Sorry to hear the Dermablend still isn't working for you. Inconsistency annoys me too - I find most foundations are inconsistent on my skin! For example, I bought the Clinique CC cream a while back and couldn't get on with it, it made my skin oily and was too pink toned. Tried it again recently and now it is slightly better as doesn't make my skin greasy but now clings to dry patches?! Probably more about my changeable skin rather than the foundation but still :rotfl:

Thanks though you have put me off getting the Dermablend and hence saved me money!

Your business sounds great, good idea. Glad it's working well for you, less stressful, and you earn more - all excellent.

Does anyone on here have the Smashbox full exposure pallette? I've bought it on an offer after wanting it for ages, but when I then googled it the reviews are completely divided and now I don;t know whether to return it? xxx

I think Val has this palette and really likes it? I have read really mixed reviews too.

Sorry to hear about your internet blowing up assett  glad it's all fixed now.

I am SERIOUSLY tempted by all the beauty boxes this month. Still want that you discovery one for the glam glow and just clocked the british beauty blogger one for latest in beauty. It looks fab - I really want some of the items in it. The only problem is that I would only want certain shades of the products and you can't choose so could end up not being a bargain if I ended up with stuff I don't like :o

    1 UU:

59 - Batiste Cherry Dry Shampoo 200ml - WBA, I am trying to not buy an dry shampoo and instead use up the various backcombing and texturising sprays I have instead. I don't find those sort of sprays work on my hair but they seem to dry it out? Will see how I get on!

A couple of years ago I paid what is for me a silly price, for a Chanel liquid lipstick thingy, it just did not work for me, too much product is dispensed and however carefully I used lip liner, it always ended up looking a mess.

Recently I scuffed the toe of my new and favourite red ankle boots, I looked for touch up polish, but decided that I need to take the boots in to match. As a wet day was forecast for today I wanted to wear them, but needed to cover the scuff before putting on another layer of waterproofing, delighted to find lippie is a perfect, if rather expensive match:D

Nails painted Layla Cloudy Violet Hologram effect, toes need re-painting, but too tired tonight.

Thanks dipp3013, I keep getting them out of the box and looking at them, but I daren't actually use them yet? Does anyone else do this or am I just a bit mad?!

kkt0802, I still haven't decided, I'll probs just end up keeping it as I cant be bothered to return it knowing me! That beautybloggers box looks really good, seems such good value!

UU 14 e45 6ml wnba prefer scented body lotions
15 estee lauder sumptuous mascara wnba nothing special for the price

OUT 50 Cargo cheek activator. Had this is a bag of make up I had to use or throw. Used it this morning, looked fine. Got to work and omg I looked like a clown! So awful, I remembered why I haven't used it in such a long time! Off it goes!

Missed the bus from work so ended up bobbing into the factory shop, got a beautiful blue sinful colors nail varnish for 50p and a ciate one in a purply colour for £3 which I thought was quite good value, though completely unnecessary of course! (INS 18 and 19).

Hammyham yep I do that too - leave things in boxes/shopping bags for ages and don't use them. I bought some clothes recently and a few are still sitting in there bags. I am planning on taking some back to the shops, took back a pair of trousers at the weekend.

    Another UU - hooray!!

60: Sanctuary hot sugar scrub (full size tub) - WMBA, this was nice but quite messy to use and I kept worrying that it was going to clog up the drains! It has taken me ages to use this up. Have got 2 scrubs left in the stash now. 1 is a good few years old and is a soap and glory one so I may end up having to throw it out as it could well be gone off!
