Thankyou all for your replies re my hair!

It had been a long time since I had got it cut professionally about 2 years :o and a year between before that, had got friends and family to trim it for me in between but it's not the same is it...so I definitely think the lack of cutting was a contributing factor dolly84 :(

Oohh FizzWhizz thankyou so much for your reply! So much information! It has had a lot of brushing, I have really troublesome hair...it's pretty straight, slight wave to it but not enough that it hides knots, and my hair is always full of knots! I can brush it through not move, not lean on anything not touch anything, go back brush it again and it will be full again, it has a life of its own! My hair dresser actually commented on it, and I was just like yeah my mums always hated going near my hair, she used to french plait it every day to try and keep some knots out, if she didn't there would be tears when she tried to brush it.
So yeah my hair definitely gets brushed a lot. Winter is the worst time because of wearing scarfs and hoodies so at least it's going to have a bit of a rest now for summer. I'm not sure I can justify the price of the Joico K-Pak but I have found it online and book marked the page for future reference ;) but I am most definitely going to try the Coconut oil.

minicooper272 - Thankyou! I think I'm definitely going to give curlformers a go! I've found they have them at Sallys too and I'm lucky enough to live near the few that aren't just for trade so going to try and pop in later :)

Willowbee - I'll keep an eye out for the Charles Worthington stuff! I'm definitely going to try switching back to a SLS free shampoo too, I used to always use one, I don't remember why I stopped :/

sam.4000 - ooh thanks, we always have coconut milk in the cupboard so that's a way I can start it sooner :)

shandyclover - That is really interesting about the shampoo! I will definitely start doing that, if nothing else it'll make shampoo last longer ;) lol.

I have just 2 birthday in's to declare,
    - Bar of bath bomb soap - still have a couple stashed but they smell so good!
    - Avon - secret fantasy star perfume.

I hope you know your capable, & brave, & significant.
even when it feels like your not....

    Hi Pixtotts

Lots of great suggestions for you, good luck. I hope the coconut oil works for you, I love it on the occasions I see the asian extended family, the ladies have such amazing long hair and I believe that one of the things that they is is coconut oil.

Bit convoluted so bear with me - I used to wake with deep wrinkles in my cheek from burying my head in the pillows while sleeping, I read to use satin pillows or place a large silk scarf on the pillow and lie on that, well it works great and a bonus was that I stopped getting the dry tangled spot in my hair which I also got from pressing into the pillow, so you might want to try this. (I bought a couple of inexpensive head squares from charity shops and use these, I hate ironing so just smooth them out but they work fine)

Oh happy belated birthday greetings, and to anyone I have missed while I was away.

I am here for May as the new Mrs Scarlett. Gonna try and use up more toiletries than I acquire on honeymoon ;)
See you all mid may. Lots of love xxx

Congratulations Mrs Scarlett. Lovely new surname.

Have a UU from my PP List - the dreaded Grace Cole Boutique body lotion. Was a gift but would not repurchase (and hope it isn't bought for me again). Too runny and doesn't absorb well.

Have just had a bath and used half of the Lush May Day bath bomb. Is very lovely.

Thinking of bobbing into Boots or Superdrug tomorrow for a new body lotion/butter. All the ones in my stash now are floral and I'm using Lush Ponche at the moment so need something fruity. Any recommendations.

Also am painting my nails. Finger nails are now sporting Sephora by OPI Nonfat Soy Half Caff (lovely nude colour) and toes OPI Nein Nein Nein OK Fine although it doesn't look fine and needs tidying up.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

2 UU and 1 IN this weekend.

UU No.1 was a shampoo I was sent to test. I got three bottles of this for some strange reason, and then the study was cancelled! The shampoo has sulphates in so I've been using it as bubble bath.

UU No.2 and my IN is both Batiste Dry shampoo. Can't live without my dry shampoo so as soon as one goes out, one goes back in again!
    No more goo hoarding!

Returned from Birmingham, the pixies were trying their best to entice me towards the naughty step but I thwarted them the only way I know how. I went to MAC and bought 2 eyeshadows which, very conveniently, I don't count in my stash ;) I got Brun to fill in my brows as the current colour I'm using is a tiny bit too warm and a tiny bit too light, and I got Woodwinked just because it's SOO pretty. It has a cool greeny tinge in the pan but applies as a gorgeous gold with a pinky undertone on me.

£25 lighter but I will use both of these to death, I'm sure *my excuse, sticking to it* :D

sounds like you resisted pretty well Fizz.

i bought a lush jingle spell bath bomb (20p) along with a soap and glory glad hair day shampoo (£2) and a champneys foot butter (50p) at the carboot this morning
the foot butter is exactly the same as the one ive just just up and it felt gorgeous. went on really well and my feet feel so much better for it so i was pleased to find that and its not really gaining anything as that particular product is a one in one out item.
so really im only adding 2 ins so far this month, and they only cost £2.20

and hurrah ive finally used up the bottle of charlie blue prefume! ive now only got one bottle of charlie red left and thats about 3/4 full.

Ebay seem to have a trial size for a sensible price http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/K-Pak-by-Joico-Travel-Kit-3-PRODUCTS-/231221720332?pt=UK_Health_Beauty_Hair_Care_Brushes_Combs_PP&hash=item35d5e3750c. There are other sellers but this one seemed reasonable and at £5.25 not too expensive.

    UU's
Green day bubble bar WBA love this bubble bar but was discontinued long ago.

Violet bubble bar (no lush) WBA really impressed with this as most bubble bars from other companies are not very good, great scent shame the company don't sell bubble bars anymore.

Aussie long hair conditioner WNBA bought when on offer, it was okay but did not wow me.

sugar scrub in pink ghost WBA lovely texture. My sugar scrub stash is going down and I want to buy more but I will resist ( the pixies will not win):D

Granny takes a bath bath ballistic WNBA a lovely one to watch but not a great fan of the scent.

    Cotton wool pads WBA

Now that I'm on full sizes I have slowed down in how quick I can get through things. I do have a few splutterers. I really don't think the shopping pixies have helped me recently as I have had quite a few INs with a few more to arrive. I am going to have a word with shopping pixies to make sure they understand they can't keep shopping even if they do think it is a bargain.

Ok, I think I'm on the naughty step all month!

OH bought me Clinique CC cream and mild cleanser yesterday

Then In boots today he bought me 2 x boots botanics serums (different ones) Toni and guy conditioner for normal hair (I had the shampoo already) seventeen flawless pore less primer, seventeen skin wow primer and a seventeen graffiti nail polish.

Then he was buying from elemis and I wanted their ginseng toner, he got me a duo pack with cleanser too and I'm getting the GWP as there wasn't a male GWP

Since I've been so naughty (through him, technically I didn't buy) I thought it wouldn't make much difference so made a lush order too (this I paid for myself, lol) all bombs and bubble bars (can't remember how many but about £40 worth)

    I think I'm incurable
