She's right. There is no longer a product called the Clarity Reward card.
There is only the Clarity card. With this card you get the £5 credit to your account if you meet the conditions.0 -
i took out a clarity card a week ago and was told about this £5 reward as i had a ultimate reward account
dont know how true it is as i only opened to use later in year in teneriffe0 -

She is incorrect...
It is available as per the T&C's if you meet the eligibility at the time of opening.
On the Halifax website on the FAQ for the Clarity Card it does say:
Where can I apply for the Clarity Rewards Credit Card?
Eligible customers can apply for the Clarity Rewards Card by visiting one of our branches0 -

I don't believe they offer the card any more - I remember checking a year or so back.0 -

They do offer it.
The page to apply for it and the T+Cs have been linked to in this thread.
I successfully applied for the card online in late January this year.
I have now received the £5 reward in March and April although I did have to prompt them in March.
The printed T+Cs received with the card are exactly the same as the online ones linked to above.0 -
Just a word of warning to anyone who recently opened a Halifax Reward Current Account and was thinking about also getting the Clarity Rewards Credit card in order to maximise the earning potential. Having recently opened the Reward Current Account 2 weeks ago I applied over the phone for the credit card and was declined. Halifax siting that my current account would need to be open for at least 3 months before I would be considered for the credit card. My credit rating is good, I hold Amex Platinum and 2 other mainstream cards with decent limits and under 2k debt on 0% I just wanted to make you aware. Thanks.0

I'm a little bit confused about this reward. I've held a clarity card for about 2 years mainly for use abroad.
Today I've finished the paperwork to open a rewards current account and the lady at the bank mentioned that I would now be eligible for rewards on my clarity if I spent £300 and paid the bill ontime. However, now looking at the terms, it seems that I needed to be eligible when the CC was opened (which I wasn't). Has anyone successfully had the payment applied under these circumstances or do I need to close the CC and re-open it?Sealed Pot Challenge #239

In your position, I'd write to Halifax Card Services, setting out what was said to you in branch (naming the advisor of course) and asking if that was indeed the case.Today I've finished the paperwork to open a rewards current account and the lady at the bank mentioned that I would now be eligible for rewards on my clarity if I spent £300 and paid the bill ontime. The price of a stamp is worth it...rather than closing the account, waiting 30-60 days, and then chancing your luck with another application (which may of course be declined!).0 -

Okay thanks, I'll try that. I'm a student graduating next month and I haven't got work confirmed until September so I'd be waiting a bit to cancel it at the moment anyways, as it isn't the best time to be applying for credit!Sealed Pot Challenge #239
