No, I'm not going potty ,no one has acces to my phone but me.
Can anyone help me understand how (on this occassion 3 ) text messages got sent to what looks like an email address?
This has cost me £15 as they are 'non-inclusive' which I shall of course take up with my provider but I just cant fathom out how its possible!

Also I have details of the recipient but I cant get any details on who they/the company are?

Please enlighten me!

Thanks as usual

You can't send text messages to an email address. Check that they are not MMS or incoming premium SMS ?

Is it possible to tell that from the address listed on my bill?

Can I post the address on here?

I have had Premium SMS charged to my bill on 4 occasions last month.

They are to number 0008765002. total of 20 texts =£6.
I did not text this number at any time!

Also in my SMS Inbox is txts from the number 65002, I did not open them.

I have not subscribed to any such service, so how come I am charged for this scam?

I'm on Tesco mobile, pay monthly

If it's not clear ask your network for a full explanation. It's they who charge you after all.

    Why not?

If you were charged for sending texts, not receiving them, then the only explanation I can imagine is a smartphone and some bogus app.

Thanks Grumbler some 'Bogus app' may explain it

UPDATE; Contacted Tesco mobile, they said they will refund and block outgoing premium texts

Yes you can but they get charged as MMS, it may be an app as grumbler suggests or may be done by accident.
If it's not a premium number I doubt it's sinister
It's not just about the money
