Can you recommend any kitchen companies

I've lived with my kitchen for ten years and can FINALLY afford to do something with it. It's pretty small, galley style, in an ex LA house, so nothing 'Homes and Garden' required. I'm a bit of a useless girlie so I need a fitter and supplier and ideally the same people can then tile and refloor (yes, I'm saving hard....). Is anyone prepared to stick their neck out and recommend anyone? Is there another thread you can point me to?
Sadly there is no useful man who can do anything. I'm a bit handy myself, so I'll hopefully be able to do some of the stripping out myself and could even probably build the units, so maybe I should buy a kitchen and get a handyman separately? I've been told this works out cheaper? BUT I want the comfort of a kitchen company to come out and measure up, order the units, plus I need a new oven, but guess that can come from anywhere.
TIA for any replies!
