It's a shame that Samba has closed down. I used the service occasionally when away from home and normally got a good signal.
It has been suggested that you can insert a new SIM card into the Samba dongle. I had thought that it was locked to the Three mobile network. Can anyone confirm whether or not this is true please? If not, which networks have you been able to connect to? Thanks0 -
The day before MSE said: "The firm told us it had around 2,000 users in total", Samba told other people that its ad network on other platforms was adding hundreds of thousands of users per month.
The firm is not broke. It just decided it was convenient to renege on its promises to people who had built up gigabytes of future use on its SIM cards.0 -
When samba went out of business l had 10 sim cards and about 108 GB of data so l lost them all l only used them when l went on holidays as there was no Wi-Fi on our site in great Yarmouth now l have to pay for my data off Three0

l buy my sim cards from PC world for £7-99 however you do not have to top them up because it cost you £10-00 so it is cheaper to buy another sim card l think they are all jumping on the band wagon and putting the price up so you will have to buy it if you want to use it0 -

The 3 1 GB data SIM is not great value at £7.99.
Consider the 6GB EE SIM for £15 instead. That will give you 6GB over three months.
2GB for £5 instead of 1GB for £8.0
