The Magnificent May-pole NSD Challenge!

Well, a run of odds and sods spends means I won't hit target this month. However, I might squeeze in another one, and even if I don't, I still have reached double figures in NSDs so am quite content with that.
Payday Wednesday so mega spends happening. Then we are away for the weekend so I will miss the traditional maypole burning that occurs every year at Ennessdee Towers to celebrate the end of the May NSD challenge. This means, I am afraid, I am leaving marmite, Knitwitch, beanie, kerri and any other [STRIKE]victims[/STRIKE] volunteers to make sure everything goes as it should do. And keep Igor away from the matches. (Yes, Igor, I don't want you doing the lighting of the maypole. Yes, I know you did it last year...yes, you struck those matches with a great deal of flair and style, but....did you have to do it whilst kerri was still swinging round the pole????? She'll never be able to wear those flouncy, frilly performance knickers ever again.)One life - your life - live it!0 -
Bindi soup - of course there will be a June challenge (I think someone suggested the June Saloon as a theme?) - how can there not be??? (Mwah hahahaha!)
And of course Midsummer happens in June, doesn't it? Now who remembers previous June challenges, and outings to places like Stonehenge for the Solstice? (Hubert still has nightmares about the sacrificial knife and all those ropes...and some of the deadly moonshine brewed for the occasion....)
Marmite - as you have done a sterling job this month, are you up for setting up the June one later this week? Gizza shout if you want anything doing for next month's challenge. One life - your life - live it!0 -
Oh come on Nargle, my peapod scumble wasn't THAT bad!!Must use my stash up!0

*cough* that's not my fault, you needed someone behind the bar(anyway, who was it that provided the anchovy champagne? hmmm?)

last reported in as of end of last Tuesday
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday were all total NSDs, taking me up 15, and target met
Saturday and Sunday both saw non-allowed spends
Today has been a total NSD (was expecting a D/Debit, but had forgotten it's a Bank Holiday), which means I'm now on NSD #16
Tomorrow will see the D/Debit go out, and I'm also planning on going into the city to pick up my new glasses (which means I'll probably 'pop into' a couple of other shops, and will almost certainly pay for the bus home)
That leaves me with 4 more possibles for the month, but I expect to lose at least one to my phone bill (if I pay promptly I get a discount - only pennies, but I refuse to lose that in order to retain an NSD)

Will there be a nsd challenge for June? A self confessed spendaholic - I really need to cut out my needless frittering, it's getting silly.
Yes bindi, there will be a June thread, which I'll try and sort out tomorrow. You just post whatever your target is.
You can still get one or two nsds this month,as we have five days left of May.;)0 -

So,apparently today was a Bank Holiday in England/the UK?:o
Muggins here wasn't aware of that,as I don't live in Britain.Mind you, people need coffee even on a Bank Holiday....I hope that a great day was had by all.:)0 -
If anyone feels like doing the odd update that would be nice.Mind you,it's not really essential,is it?And it takes a long time to do.
cw18 are you going to increase your target?
Today was spendy,as predicted.I think tomorrow will be too,as I want to get some fruit bushes for my garden.
PS please let me know when it's a Bank Holiday in Britain,thanks!0
