Well, today I really fell off the nsd wagon, and spent a lot on mostly unneeded items. One item was arguably a need, but an extravagent one at that.
This has been happening quite a bit recently, and I usually raid my 'budgets' account to get the money.I'm not really sure why this is happening now.
Next month is going to be very tight.
I do have a lot of money saved up,so in theory, there isn't a problem about finding the money for these spends.I am really 100% against using my savings to fund needless purchases. So,as I say, next month will be ..interesting...
Enough about me.
Tomorrow is Friday!!!!!:j:j:j0 -

Yesterday was NSD #9
Today was always going to be a spend day due to CT D/Debit.
I also had some money off vouchers for books for my K0bo that expired at 5am this morning, so just after midnight (and before I turned in) I got myself 3 books on the Camino de Santiago - definitely more a want than need, but lighter to carry when I'm off on the walk.
This afternoon I nipped to the shops for a couple of grocery items I needed - and ended up spending way more than I should have on 'wants' which were mostly junk food
After I got home I checked out some stuff I've had in my Amaz0n basket for a while.... 5 second hand DVDs (all the Herbie films for under £8 total incl postage), a pair of swimming goggles (smaller and lighter than the ones I've been using, but nothing wrong with the ones I have which makes these definitely a want - hoping small/light enough to be able to take them to Spain as there are pools along the route for relaxation time but I need goggles as I wear contacts in the water), a keychain that holds 4 SD cards (I [strike]lose[/strike] misplace the cards in normal boxes, but this can be attached to my camera case meaning I shouldn't do that anymore), an SD card (the only ones I can find are too big a capacity for my DSLR to handle and I'm fed up of it being out of action while I'm hunting down the 2 I already have 'somewhere'), and a multi-USB charger - about the only thing I can class as a need. Power points on the Camino are at a premium, I'm taking 5 appliances that charge by USB plus a battery charger, and I currently have a 2 slot USB charger which is low output and very bulky or a lighter / more compact 1 slot that is also slow. The one I've ordered is faster (just over twice the speed if all slots are in use) and 4 slots, which hopefully means I'll generally be able to let other people use slots in it (can't see me generally needing more than 2 at the same time, and very rarely more than 3) which should mean others will be more tolerant when I need a second socket for charging batteries for my cameraCheryl0 -
