DRP There paperwork is good emergency bog paper, write to them and let them know. :money:
PPCs say its carpark management, BPA say its raising standards..... we all know its just about raking in the revenue.
  • Coupon-mad, many thanks for your reply. I was hoping you would respond as I have seen that you seem to be very knowledgeable throughout the forum on this subject.

I will try as you've suggested and write to the shop manager.
Now - in my letter, do I write the truth, i.e admitting to being the driver etc or is there something standard I should send? Should I send anything else further to DRP or just leave them with my first letter?

Thanks again all for ALL your help!

Ignore debt recovery plus , they are just vermin after your cash! Now go after the retailer as both coupon and I have said above, concentrate efforts there. If you are going for the shop manager go there in person with copies of your receipts, insist in speaking to the manager themselves.

Just say that the driver was a shopper there, let them make the assumptions if you wish, it makes little difference admitting you were the driver to the shop, they will not pass your details on to the scammers.
When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

I'd see the Store Manager in person & show him the drivel that his customers are being harassed with. If he says he can't help much because the landowner took the scumbags on, and they are fairly powerless, ask for the contact details of the landowner then! If it's a national chain email the complaint to the top banana of the Store.

P.S. I just read your thread title again this time & thought it said 'Debt Recovery Plus have BEEN cautioned for using Templates' (they should be!!).
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
