Yes, you get a print out from the terminal.iAMaLONDONER wrote: »Btw is returning via Amazon locker cheaper than using Collect +?
There is no charge for either service.0 -
I had a chair mat delivered damaged last week, quite large 900x1200 , went online and was only offered self return with i think it was £3.30 towards postage, there was no option to book a courier or label , anyhoo fired off an email to amazon and they collected next day

I have always found Amazon to give excellent customer service, and, no, I don't work for them!
Love that they deliver on Sundays now as well!

You can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset.

That's a bit naughty of them to not offer correct options for returning products in the first instance. I would have expected better from Amazon.
I wonder how many people end up paying something towards returns because they aren't clued up on their rights, and just go with the only option they are presented.0 -

Was there any thing wrong with the goods?iAMaLONDONER wrote: »Not quite right as they deducted £3.99 from my refund amount for using a Collect + store

My saving of £90 greatly outweighed the return fee!
The charge was correct then. The return is only free if the item is faulty. For change of mind the seller must refund the price plus the original postage with the buyer bearing the cost of the return.
As you said, this amount was negligible compared to the saving you made by purchasing elsewhere.0
