Another Underfloor heating (UFH) question

We are thinking of getting the UFH installed in our new extension. The size of the UFH coverage would be approx. 50SQM +5SQM for the bathroom.
I have read that to get the best out of the UFH its best to divide the area into zones, make sense. I have no problem with that but my question is do we then need individual thermostats located for each zone or it’s possible to combined these multiple thermos with some sort of ‘Master Controller’ where we can define the temperature, timing for each zone? I cannot imagine seeing 3 thermostats for three zones plus one for the heating!
Any help/guide would be appreciated.
Cheers

It depends on the manufacturer of UFH you go for. I think the one I went with covered a max of 44sq m from one thermostat. One thing I will say is thay electric UFH at that size willbe both expensive to install and expensive to run. Have you considered a wet system?0

I would have thought you would want separate stats for each room, otherwise how will the system know what the temperature is in each room to enable it to turn on/off each zone??????? I'd personally say Yes !! Stat in each room0 -

Yep you are correct but i would have thought with all this fancy technologies coming out, there must be more efficient way to control your heating requirements.0 -
You can well split an area into several separate coils (say3), these will be piped back separately to the manifold tits (actuators) one thermostat for the zone in the room will actuate all (3) tits together. You scullion! I must admit it was hard not have a laugh at your precise description :T
Right thanks for making it clear that one thermostat can control the temperature for the remaining zones, i am slightly confused, how could we then regulate the different timings for different zones?0 -
Any further input?

Because you use programming room stats, wired or wireless, each can be loaded with the information of room temp, time for operation , temp set back and day of week and numerous other operations incl manual override. You scullion! I am sorry i must be very thick when it comes to understating these techie stuff. Basically what you are saying that we will have programming room stats, wired or wireless, for each zone?0
