It is a choice people have and since when has consumer choice been a bad thing?

Since people started blaming anyone but themselves when they make the wrong choice?

According to the Hastings site, it's £20 to change a vehicle if you do it online - did you try that first?

Yes, I did funnily enough, but the website wouldn't let me access my policy or make any ammendments...............

My car insurance renewal (due on 3/5) is £106.25 for the year which includes protected NCD, courtesy car and motor legal protection. In the last 20 years I have made no mid term changes to my policies and I have no intention of doing so this year. It really doesn't make financial sense for me to pay a higher premium so I can make policy changes cheaper or for free.

Get a life! Don't be so jealous. Get a job

I've got a nice job already, thanks, quite a nice life, and I also quite like my cars (I came in in the C63 today).

What am I supposed to be jealous of?

Both my kids have had to have telematics boxes as I wouldn't be able to afford their insurance without them

To echo what you yourself wrote previously, you really should have tried harder at school.

You are soooo funny. Why don't you try stand up comedy. I'm sure you'd fill the venues. Not sure what with though.

I know that you like to play up your low educational standards, but please, can't you at least get someone to explain punctuation to you? A question, even a hypothetical one, requires a question mark.

As to why, it'd be a rare comedy gig that would be as enjoyable or as well paid as running a trading desk, so I'd have no interest in it. Anyway, as any fule kno, being funny makes you fat, and no-one likes a fat man.
  • I wonder, if OP had politely explained that he needed to make changes but was unable to acess the policy through the online portal, if the original £20 fee would have been charged rather than the £35?

I would love to listen to the call.....

I hope you had some tissues to hand and didn't soil the leather............
