i am back
i have been reading and want to thank you all for your good wishes x
it is still painful to use my left hand so i can't type well, it takes ages with one hand and forgive me for not using capitals. it really is surprising how much you use your left hand and don't realise it.
did a stupid thing yesterday , i tried to steady myself and used my left hand  forsooth and other profanities:eek: i won't be doing that anytime soon.
can't use crutches either so i am wheelchair bound for at least 2 weeks until the stitches come out
they were great at the hospital and i was wheeled around everywhere and had a laugh and joke with everyone in the operating theatre, the local anaesthetic injection was horrid but after that i felt nothing until he hit a nerve  it was like an electric shock all the way up my arm. then into recovery for half an hour and then back to the ward where they insisted that i had a sarnie and a coffee
i was home by 12.30pm and have been in a sling up until now but i still have to keep my arm raised as long as possible with it resting on lots of cushions during the day and at night when i am sleeping.
i have to go back to see the consultant in 6 weeks.
lamewolf.. chin up darling and lots of positive vibes are on their way to you x
jackieo and molly i hope that you are both recovering well xx.
bfn xBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light
