  • Am feeling a bit better now, having had some news. No easy solutions but action being taken, so that helps.

Thank you so much for all the messages of support here and to NPM for yours on Facebook. Your thoughts really mean so much and I tell you all things I would never tell anyone in "real life".

I am missing LW - does anyone know where she is?

    Love and hugs

    Afternoon all,

so pleased to hear your news TTFTM. Hopefully you wont have to fight for everything so hard now.

Late posting from me today. Ive been to see Mom. The mental strain trying to decipher what she is trying to say and the walk uphill on the way back has knackered me out. She was mithering about losing her handbag. Of course there was a great deal of money in there. She'll never see that again. She knows where its gone as do I.

Moving swiftly on, haven't done a thing in the house. I had my bath. did my hair and went straight out of the door this morning. Ive got it all to do this afternoon but I don't fancy my chances. :o

Onwards and forwards (a kick up the backside needed please!)
Hope you all have a great day.

Sorry for absence; am dealing with some stress of the feel-sick-every-time-I-think-about-it variety and really not been feeling able to put a coherent post together. Hopefully know more about my situation tomorrow, and Mr LW's on Thursday. Both health related. Forgive me, I don't want to say more, lest I burst into tears.

Good afternoon everybody, the sun is shining here in the NW atm.I'm feeling tired we had both bedroom windows open and the birds woke us at the crack of dawn. Still ,lots to do so got up early.I hardly dare say it so I'll whisper it....I think we've sold the house ,after trying since 2008,on & off & with 1 sale that fell through! Really hope it goes through ok.The couple came at Christmas and said they'd have it but then their sale fell through but theyve sold again so fingers crossed. We did a bit of clearing when it sold before but that was over 2 years ago and clutter has crept in again. The new shredder is working overtime but is more efficient. There is a skip on the drive which is nearly full already,& as we will be moving to somewhere a lot smaller we have lots to get rid of.

Gave the corner suite from the conservatory to DSs mate,he was really pleased as he'd just moved into a house on his own after a split with his gf,and towels and a load of kitchen stuff - he hasnt got much at all as he's left it all with his ex.

I think we'll be renting for a bit if it all goes ok,as our situation has been complicated by DS2 arriving back here as he and (now ex)GF have agreed to part ,called off wedding plans and sold their house too,so for the time being we'll need somewhere that DGD & DGS can sleep when he has them overnight until he finds somewhere suitable.

Lyla has come into her 1st season so I'm constantly mopping up after her,we'll get her spayed after this but with such large dogs its better for their growth if you can wait till after their 1st apparently.

Anyway I'd better get back to my tasks, theres a form from the solicitors I have to fill in too.
Glad you have some good news TTFTM.
Hope everyone is recovering nicel from their ops,and hope you are ok LW,just seen your post so gentle positive vibes for you midear x

    Afternoon all,

Hasn't it been a beautiful day? bit cloudy at times but still lovely. The lady on Countryfile last night said we were in for frost later in the week. I certainly hope not!

LW - Horrible feeling. Thinking of you.

JackieO, glad you are getting about a bit, even if it is only on the
    bus :)

I have been very busy today and only just had a chance to sit down. Been to work and in between had a walk with my friend and a quick coffee, got some bits of shopping from Mr T and nipped into Dobbies for chicken fillets. Cleaned the bathroom and downstairs loo and swept the floors. Put away one lot of washing and pegged the towels out.

I shall miss my walk for the next couple of weeks as my friend is off to the Maldives again - me jealous - nah!! ;) It's her husband's 50th and he doesn't want to be at home for it.

Dinner will be something with mince then off to Yoga. I need some relaxation.

    Enjoy your evening.

    Hugs to LW x
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

TTFTM - Glad things appear to be sorting themselves out.
LW - Thinking of you, big air hugs.

Just in from work and the weather is lovely and warm but not very sunny, anyway I have put the washing out on the line for a couple of hours. Need to hoover round and then cook a chicken for later, DD is working till 7 and home at 8.

There is a residents association meeting on later so I may go for a wander to see what's going on, should really show an interest in my new local area!

    Take care. XX
