Pets birthdays

It'll soon be one year since we brought CD home from the rehoming centre and in the absence of knowing an actual birthday, we've decided this day will be his "birthday".

Does anyone do anything special for their pet's birthday?

  • On our cat's 1st birthday, we celebrated by… starving her all day!
She was due for spaying the following day, you see.
  • Not for her birthday, (she's a rescue so we didn't know when it was) but I do get her presents and even wrap them up at Christmas.

I don't know Pipsqueak's birthday either. She gets treats every day after walkies (she's learned to count to three...) and a treat before bed. She did get a bag of treats from PaH for her birthday, well the date I entered on the website :)

Yes, we celebrate Bob's birthday by giving him tuna and other tasty treats. As he's a rescue, we celebrate the day we brought him home. :)

Yeah we wrap presents up, excuse for a new collar/lead and a nice treat for their tea!

I know they have no idea but it's fun and pretty cute!

Our cat is so spoilt. He got loads of presents at Christmas and Easter (not just from me, my mum spoils him too lol). He hasn't had a birthday with us yet, but when he's 9 in July I might throw him a party :)

Bailie didn't know it was her birthday, but I did, so I had a box of chocolates to celebrate, on her behalf. :rotfl:

One of mine was picked up off the street, so that's her birthday - well sort of as it was the 29th February. They all get some extra treats:o

My dog gets at least 1 present and a doggie cake.
