It's still unlimited if it's the £23pm SIM Only plan you took out.0 -
The unlimited tethering is not available to NEW 3 members, they've changed the policy. As long as your an old 3 customer your fine, but as Cloudyday realised new customers do not benefit from unlimited tethering anymore.0

Hmmm. Seems to be way too much confusion here.
Let me clear this up properly.
Existing customers
Those on existing plans with unlimited tethering can keep unlimited tethering if they stay on the same tariff.
New customers signing up for a phone for 24 months
Will have a 2GB tethering cap on AYCE data. This also applies to existing customers upgrading or moving over to a new tariff.
New or Existing customers signing up to a 1 month or 12 month SIM Only plan
Unlimited tethering remains.
As you can see it's only the new contract price plans with phone that have a 2GB tethering cap.
Sources-Who does the 2GB Personal Hotspot or “tethering” limit apply to?
For new customers ONLY who have signed up for a 24 monthly phone contract effective March 18th 2014 with All-you-can-eat data.
Is there anyway I can keep my unlimited Personal Hotspot or “tethering”?
Yes. If you are a customer on The One Plan – the only plan that offers unlimited Personal Hotspot – then you will continue to enjoy unlimited tethering for the duration of your current plan.
At the end of the minimum term of your current contract, you have two options:
1) Continue on your existing contract on a “rolling” basis, with your existing allowance.
2) Downgrade to a SIM Only plan which includes All-you-can-eat data with tethering (The One Plan is still available on a SIM only basis).0 -

If you bought sim only One Plan, you still have unlimited tethering included, as ZhugeEX has said.
£23 sounds like the 30 day sim only One Plan? The unlimited tethering is not available to NEW 3 members, they've changed the policy. As long as your an old 3 customer your fine, but as Cloudyday realised new customers do not benefit from unlimited tethering anymore.
You are wrong, before you decide to post false info to contradict someone else you would be wise in future to research and know what you are talking about (especially when the other poster has been a long standing member known for good advice).====0 -
I bought a £23 sim only 10 days ago & was told that the tethered data is still unlimited. I have already used over 12GB tethered in the 10 days .
ps Apparently there has actually always been a limit but it is 2 TERAbytes a month.0 -

You were told the right information, it is unlimited.ps Apparently there has actually always been a limit but it is 2 TERAbytes a month.
This is what Three actually say in the T&CsDoes all you can eat data come with any limits?
The limit is how much your device can consume – if you were to actively use data or the Internet on your phone every second, of every day, in every month (and we would be worried if you were !!!!) you would, subject to the current traffic management requirements (which vary from time to time), use up to 1000GB per month.
So in essence there is a limit of how much data you can actually consume which is up to 1000GB.
All this means that you can have absolute peace of mind and enjoy all the internet you need on your smartphone, without worrying.====0 -

It sure is @Daz. We still have unlimited tethering as part of our SIM only One Plan which is available to anyone. Full details of the plan (link removed). >Rich
Question
Daz April 9, 2014
Is it possible for a new customer i.e. no existing Three contract to purchase The One Plan sim only and have access to all-you-can-eat tethering ?
As mentioned by other posters the 2GB tether cap relates to the new 24 month phone contracts that include AYCE data.
It isn't possible to buy The One Plan as a 24 month phone contract since 18 March. The One Plan is still available sim only and remains unchanged as per Three's announcement when it launched the new 24 month phone plans.0
