hi all
dont know if this is the right forum to post on, Bu here goes...I want to purchase a home learning subscription...I know there are plenty of free resources but I want something with a little bit more structure so i kinda have to make sure the kids do it and can monitor progress etc , me and my husband are both so busy i feel like I need this to make sure we do it and teacher seems to be pushing more and more at home although i dont necessarily agree with pressure I don't like to see my son an d daughter upset because they struggle with maths. I was just wondering if anyone subscribes to a package for there children ...ive come across IXL -http://uk.ixl.com/which seemed resonable 7.99 and 2pound extra for additional child.and carol vordamans maths factor
http://www.themathsfactor.com/ which i think is very expensive and the difference may be that they actually get taught on carols maths factor.
any feedback/ thoughts appreciated
thanks

A few friends of mine have in the past used Kumon with their children and said it is good for building confidence. I understand that they had little booklets to do each night and then went once a week to see the Kumon tutor. I have no first hand experience with it, but have heard nothing but good reports.0
