Trying to found a decent new phone/Contract

I'm hopeful someone can give some advice.

I currently have S3 and paying £27pm. I've got no idea how I managed to get such a cheap deal, This deal is what Orange were offering giving to people 2 years ago.

I get 1G data, unlimited texts, 800 anytime minutes. I would like FM Radio on the new phone.

I' am just better off sticking to the current phone and contract? or is there a decent new phone and contract which would not resulted in my good self having to spend a lot of addition cost per month or one off fees?

Of course I might spend addition fiver a month but that would be at the upper limits.

Yes. Why waste money on a new phone if you are happy with the one you have?
    and contract?
    No.
    I see Virgin offer 1200+Unltd+1Gb for 1x£12.
Do you really need 800 minutes?
    500+Unltd+1Gb cost 12x£10 at chitter-chatter or 1x£10 at Lycamobile.
    600+5000+1Gb cost 12x£9.90 or 1x£12.90 at '3'.

Im not to happy with it and the signal is getting worse at my house. S4 may have come down in price but there still want money upfront and then its two years for the contract. Someone suggested a Nexus 5, a decent mid range phone which seems to be lacking these days.

Change the network in the first place then, not the phone. Unlock the phone if it's locked to your network.
  • Definitely buy the Nexus 5 outright, if you must have this phone. No point getting it on a contract as it's certainly affordable outright compared to Iphone, S5 and so on. Then go sim-only with network of your choice.

That is not cheap. £27 is expensive...

You could get more for a lot less on sim only or a package style PAYG like Giffgaff or Lyca.

Like 500 minutes, unlimited texts and unlimited data for £12 a month.

Here is a good deal on galaxy s4. cheaper than what you are paying just now and phone is free :) only 500MB of data though. That does me per month as i use Wi-Fi quite a lot.

Galaxy s4 in black (free) 1000 Mins + Unlimited Texts + 500MB Data for £23.99 on EE
