:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: hubby i doubt would never be able to buy from £1 shop anyway as his sight is poor, even if he could they would be like bottom of coke bottles, he pays more for lenses to be thinned than glasses:eek::eek:

    Bubbs, that made me laugh.
It put me in mind of a Mike Harding tape I had years ago when he was saying how poor his family was, and that they couldn't afford specs. His dad made a helmet out of chicken wire and put jam jar bottoms in so he could see.:rotfl:
I've tried to find more Mike Harding stuff in the shops and online, but have never managed to source any. He was sooo funny.

Ooh, Smartpriced Spag Loops (with the emphasis on the 'priced') looks like they are going up to 24p in A tomorrow, as now changed to that on msm. Watch on SELs early doors folks. Item on M list already.

Notwithstanding my run of troutings, I have managed to cash out all my PPs and HHs and with effort have hit my Amex target. Now just to decide what to do with "a few" (40ish) 3V ...

Despite my theory the other evening, I am loathe to spend money cashing out (particularly after the hassle I had getting the HHs used!) so may have to sit on them while I spend them gradually. An alternative is doing a few Cashback deals to cover the transaction costs, merge and cash out.

Let this to be a lesson to the Elite about the potential risks when getting carried away ;). I am not worried about it as I will spend them eventually and have CC points for the summer. You have 9 months to spend before any charges (£2 per month thereafter) and they expire after 12 months. The only other potential risks are Raphaels Bank (company behind 3v) disappearing, having them sitting in a drawer (theft) or the cash out options reducing even more.

Of course I would use them in A over time (no need to spend on my Amex for a while :) ) or Amazon.

Was hoping it was the micro rices. So works out at 71p each?

Does anyone cook rice in advance. I know FSA says no to reheating but I often eat it cold but cook in the night for the next day but I want to cook a few days in advance. Thoughts?

You can cook rice in advance. Once cooked portion it up into microwaveable pots, and freeze. It tends to break up a bit if you micro it from frozen, but is ok if you let it defrost before you nuke it. You can do it with rice pud as well.

They're upping their offers - not too much though so don't get too excited! Msm now has 10% cashback on Nestle Shreddies 500g for me. So £2.48, £1.00 coupon, clickslip thingy or whatever it was:o, price comp vs 10% cheaper than Morries £1.15 (did anyone ever have any confirmation about that?) and then about 25p(?) on 10% msl? Might be 'quite good':D.
