You can cook rice in advance. Once cooked portion it up into microwaveable pots, and freeze. It tends to break up a bit if you micro it from frozen, but is ok if you let it defrost before you nuke it. You can do it with rice pud as well.

Unfortunately freezer space is a premium so maybe I'll cook 3 days worth I'm advance and do this twice per week...worth a try, thanks

Please can I ask if this was a
    Sainsbobs v Sada shop?

    Sainsbobs v tossor shop?

And which items were you expecting to match for the BM?

I was wondering about this the afternoon - if you could get a BM if you bought beauty items and used a double up.

The Creamy cheese mugshots are snacks for DS2 while we are on holiday. They aren't the sachet ones, they're in pots. Messed up cos I forgot they compare against T, and I was going for vs M. :o

I blame VT, she distracted me;):p:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I have quite a big online apg to use up and will have to do a muggle shop:eek: cos if I get another shop that generates an apg it will be ood before I get back from my holiday. It just feels so wrong.
Thinking about it, I will have to do the same with the apg I got today:eek:

Lutzi don't worry I am back but still teary eyed.

I just read to much into what was being posted and got myself in a tizz and got annoyed and upset thinking I was doing wrong posting some of the stuff I was.

Hope you are feeling better in yourself :).

Good, the thread is lucky to have you :A. You are doing exactly what it says in midwinter's wise words in the first post of this thread.

I've more or less reconciled myself to what we discussed thank you, but life is currently destroying much of what I thought the rest of my life held for me and my family and it takes some coming to terms with. No doubt we shall find a way to move forward, but I think it will take a while to get used to. It's a wise old saying: "How do you make God laugh? Tell Him your plans."

But I am very blessed in my lovely husband and we shall get through it together. x
    Hope is not a strategy.

Why don't you just treat yourself to something that you really fancy then instead of being practical for once? Something nice to come back to or to set the mood before you go?

That's a really good idea. Any suggestions anyone?
