Hasn't this been a rotten thread? Could we not just shut it down and get someone nice to start a new one.

    What?

Don't be silly - do I pay any attention to who started a thread? No, none at all, I'm only interested in saving me and everyone money. It's always people that "share the mindset of what is most common or 'normal'" that have personal disagreements, hold grudges or simply don't like someone and just can't (it appears from the outside) put it behind them. Even saying 'can't we start a thread to get someone nice to start it' is itself foreign to me, as it implies beyond doubt that the person starting the current thread isn't "nice" - in fact, more so, suggests they are horrible.

I have nothing against Locarr, non-Locarr, geemi or non-gemmi or anyone else, please just either keep yourselves nice to everyone on here - or if you really can't cope and have to hold irrational emotional grudges or bugbears, keep yourselves to yourself and sit it out till a new thread is naturally due. In my view, you're the problem (the word 'you're' is being addressed globally, in general and not specifically to the OP) if you hold grudges or, in my view, immature gripes that relate to other people. (Woah, Savvy, this is going to upset people as they simply cannot bear the uncomfortable truth, about themselves, and especially not as it is true.)

...And then I'm the one that has been perceived in the past as having 'spoken out of turn' because I have an urge to speak my mind, from a neurological condition, rather than it being instead others who ought to be able to know what social acceptabilties are rather than having to do the logically-based sometimes guesswork that I do...

I'd rather be autistic, as I am indeed, than be what may be termed 'neuro-typical' as neuro-typical (in my doubtless limited theoretical-only experience) causes so many problems and has so much failure and/or (in my view unnecessary) problems in relationships with others that simply need not bother me (because I don't form them easily in the first place. Hurrah!).

Haha Mildred, get involved...ive just learnt Melody is an oldie ;)

Have you had a listen to them...?

Yeah I always try and listen to any music posted on here, it's a good way of finding new stuff you may never have otherwise heard :j

Some of yours/PMs songs were familiar, but I was never into garage...I dallied with Britpop (not Oasis) in the mid 90's but I was always more rock/metal with some random stuff throw in :)
  • I've stopped karaokes!!! I mean they've physically stopped karaokes because of me & I really wish I was joking, people who take karaoke seriously really annoys me, I also do a humiliating backlog of Paul Anka songs & a few take that.

Is it me or does the A grated cheese that some us have "a few" packs of not seem to have the same texture as the cheese that was allegedly grated? I haven't bough pre grated cheese before as always thought it a little lazy when I could do it myself and this was a good deal, but is it normal?

    Many thanks

Is it pre grated, or post grated though?? Savvy, please, in your usual short but comprehensive manner, please answer ;)

It hasnt, it has just had an element of bitter posters. Lets just move on and not dwell.
edit: and to be fair, that sort of comment does not help.

Not much of a fan of country or most stuff that starts with r (rock, rap, reggae etc.). Like a bit of everything else though!

    Why shut it down?

It's our thread, the same as the last and the same as the next...what difference does it make who actually started it?

IIRC at the end of the last thread there seemed to be a general reticence by many to actually start one, Locarr was there and got on with it

Can't see a problem myself, I just skip past any nonsense these days and try to avoid posting anything in relation to shenanigans. Hopefully that was they die down pretty quickly.
