I've been thinking wether to post this or not. But if it helps someone/anyone why not.
I found out that you can donate money to causes that have been posted on here
from a 3v card. So if anyone has a few quide left on any of these cards at least give it to charity rather than let visa get the money from you. By not using it.
I hope this has come across in the sincere way I mean it.0 -

I think it's a great idea Zippy
There might even be people with 3vs that want to donate to the various causes being posted at the minute and didn't know they could use these.0 -

Sorry - need to look back to earlier parts of the thread.
Well they bought it grated, so it was grated before it was bought, so pre-grated, but the cheese is past the point of being grated, so is it instead post-grated?? Dont be sitting on the fence Savvy, you will get spelks (thin bits of wood in your bum for sootherners)

Maybe ready-grated is just easier...0 -

Some of yours/PMs songs were familiar, but I was never into garage...I dallied with Britpop (not Oasis) in the mid 90's but I was always more rock/metal with some random stuff throw in
Ah. I'll go for this now (was thinking of posting it just before midnight, but then though 'no it's off-topic, nothing about moneysaving').
Another classic Top 40 hit:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_aY-CH5rqMI
Of the one week at the bottom end. Oh - I found the original mix (which I've never heard before) whilst looking for the above, so whilst you listen to the Top 40 remix I've go and have a listen to the doubtless equally excellent original, in its own different way.
I do remember these - it was Mark Goodier at the time wasn't it? I like to think of this as the first time all week that daytime radio listeners were given something good to listen to. Sort of the type of record not on any radio station playlist whatsoever (bugbear bugbear there from me:D) - yet in the Top 40. Used to like the only six songs around that time period that were in the Top 40 and were on the playlists of none of Radio 1, 2, 1Xtra, 6Music or the commercials. Think I just like non-radio friendly songs! I was then too old for Radio 1, too young for Radio 2, both too old and young for 6Music and too old for 1Xtra too.
Sort of a record of the kind to buy:eek: (back in the days when no internet access to these things though) and put at number 37 thus forcing them to play it, for its first and last time, on daytime radio, Sunday afternoon only:(. Imagine the daytime, sleepy daytime audience suddenly being subjected to a decent tune!:rotfl::rotfl:
Then they stopped playing all 40 songs. Then they introduced download stats. in order to stop songs that charted on sales only. (They got to low-end Top 40 as lots of DJs bought them on vinyl to play in clubs.)0 -
