This might be quite sad to admit, but I love overpaying, it's so satisfying! We get a nice letter each month we overpay, showing how much we've saved off the term, and DH has done a calculation to show how much interest each overpayment saves us, it's a real incentive to put our money into the mortgage instead of wasting it on crap.
There's also the other side to it, which is that if we don't overpay, we'll still be paying it in 37 years time!
Part of me thinks it's better to spend the money on crap, rather than putting equity into my house only for the govt to take it to pay for nursing care in old age....0 -

i know i live a sheltered life other than ds3 alder heys appointments I dont leave north wales,
I wouldn t really call them holiday camps like Butlins etc but more of a retreat and a place to go for peace and quiet among the trees and flora and fauna. No cars are allowed in the place apart from maintenance people etc .
It's a relaxed pace of life and people don't feel the need to be fully made up and hair done . You pay for most of the wide range of activities but the dome and swimming area s included in the price.
People can do as little or as much as they like. Not a cheap holiday but if two families go in the same accommodation it s half the cost each. We ve been going since the kids were small and 2 of the 3 of them love it there and go most years .
Best to google it and you can find out more than I've said0 -

She's 24wks with her first baby, I've read a ton of things saying yes, no & only if but wouldn't mind some personal advice if anybody has some?
I would, in fact the iron may help her feel less tired. I had to be put on iron tablets as I was anaemic. The difference in my energy levels was amazing, they were like little energy boosters. I didn't realised just how tired I was until i felt the difference. I couldn't afford to eat steak at the time as I only like fillet
How does she like it cooked? I would probably do it medium but not if she then wouldn't like it, it would be a waste. My husband insisted on giving me fried eggs without the runny yolk, he might as well have not bothered! I know he was doing it out of concern but so infuriating at the time. He said you can still have eggs just not runny ones, I replied he could still have brown sauce just not HP:D I won
Sorry little off topicPan drawers in 2016 £1500 needed.0 -
We went to the one in Cumbria but have been to all of them over the years
Have you tried the http://www.centerparcs.com/EN/GB/offer/holiday-villages?pageplacement=navlinks"]ones over the Channel? My friends used the Dutch ones recently. Much cheaper but with slightly less in the way of sports facilities. Can combine it with a shopping spree on the way home. There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -

No unfortunatly. The nearest to us is the Cumbrian one, then theSherwood Forest one over the Penines, then Elveden Forest and finally Longleat . They have a new one open somewhere else too.0
