I can never find the lists over there, it is like another language to me. :o

It will be good to visit couple of old haunts and pay bargain price, one of them I had my hen party in. Those were the days lots of girlie nights out, meal after work and then you were in walking distance to a Bournemouth nightclub. ;)

Like thats still going to be there :rotfl:

    Good morning everyone.

Many happy returns of the day to itsasecret66 :)

Taking DS2 back to uni today, together with homemeade flapjacks, and carrot soup.

We've discussed the difficulties getting GP appointments on the thread a few times, and the questions etc included.

I had an appointment yesterday, a new term cropped up, the receptionist advising me that my appointment was with a physician associate. Googled the term, interesting!

Hope everyone has a very good day today.
Just done the same and googled it. Sounds like triage to me

    Cheaper to employ.

Reach the same diagnosis in most cases.

Still need doctor to sign most prescriptions.

    :)

It was strange. His name badge had Dr on it, and he was either Northern American or Canadian. So maybe in the process of getting accepted onto the GP list over here? But he was a very nice man :D

    He had a name badge?!

Savvy - surely it is not just the length that is important, but the girth too ;)

With any product like that, to make sure you get the best value weigh a few items, and buy the heaviest.

I often do this with prepacked, fixed price produce like bags of apples - I just buy the heaviest pack and it often works out cheaper than loose product.

I do the same with aubergines.

    Value for money, innit.

I did the postcode search, eldest child has 11 within two miles, York has 18, we have 2 - I still signed up though.

of the 2 one is a Ramada hotel and I've seen these hotels listed on groupon/living social deals recently with cheap rates for overnight stays with breakfast. So very useful if you are putting together a cheap midweek break :T
