I agree. I had a few battles along the way in the early days but it's more than worth digging your heels in! DS2 still has a TA with him in every lesson at Secondary school and IT equipment to use as well. I was really worried about him changing schools but after the initial couple of months getting used to things, he has absolutely thrived on it.
DS2 is in year 8 at grammar school & has no statement or help & quite often gets detentions for not understanding homework properly :( they changed heacteachers just after he started & she's a complete female dog! lucklily she's leaving so hopefully they'll have someone more understanding in her place :)
DS3 is in year 6 with a statement & only 9 in his class at specialist school with 1 teacher & 2 ta's & will be the same when he goes to specialist secondary in september :) it all varies so much on each child with asd to how much help they get unfortunately :(

Quite unlike my stepson, OH and I sneaked a look at his texts to see if his mum had been slagging us off. She was texting stuff like "miss u my little pickle" apparently pickle is her pet name for him :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: and he didn't object! He is 12! Its not healthy to try and keep them as mummys boys at that age IMO

    He'll always be mummy's pickle...what ever his age!

 Failed on first question - I don't have a group of friends. (Not in RL anyway.)

So - where's the option for that?:p:p Absolutely typical - the writers of these surveys, who don't have Asperger syndrome, never provide a proper range of options and they always miss things out:(:(:(. (Frowning at them - not me getting upset.;)) So useless aren't they, 'neurotypical' people! Sorry folks, don't mean it like that!;);) Phew!:o:):):D:rotfl:

Btw - do not worry, there's no need for sympathy/empathy as I'm perfectly happy absent a "group of friends". And I'm speaking in normal voice here - SO NO RANTING!!:mad::rotfl::rotfl: (Only those last three words, for comic effect:rotfl:.) And wasn't suggesting survey-writers' inability to appreciate that possibility, or suggesting that the survey itself is disability discriminatory, instead my suggestion was the focus on the fact that surveys in general tend to give (and this one specifically, as shown on this point, now gives) a very limited range of options for response that almost always fail to include the answer I want to give them. Thus limiting the usefulness of the results they get from the survey! Flawed methodology of survey compilers therefore!:D:D That's my pointed dig:cool:.

Hit the nail on the head, I have! Again:rotfl:.

So - with my quick-thinking and adaptive approach:rotfl:, ha ha, I will answer the closest option. See - I do have common sense after all!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Limits the usefulness of the final result though, in my view:p(:rotfl:). (Tongues to survey-compilers - :rotfl::rotfl:.)

    Oh, I'm enthusiastic as well apparently!!:rotfl: I'll take that:T.

(Even if it's unreliable IMO as affected by the not totally accurate first two answers. Obviously :pvery enthusiastic about the survey:(:(:(:rotfl:.)
oh Savvy, you did make me smile with your reasoning. I was going to ask what word came out for you but you beat me to it. "Enthusiastic" :D:T

If you haven't cancelled your Times subscription then....

If you've cancelled then your membership access will probably have been revoked (even though the month isn't up yet) :naughty:

If you're still on (maybe, sadly, though not cancelling membership), can you update your details, get the 'free' coffee voucher code and then cancel the membership?:)

[Edit: just noticed it's a voucher 'code' - not a voucher as such - probably allowing them to revoke the code and allegedly 'renege' on the offer if you then go and cancel:(:(.]

Yeah I am a little bit joking. Little bit:rotfl:.

:rotfl:, where you buying it? Mr Tosco?:rotfl::rotfl: (Two rhetoricals again here, but yea why not give it a punt? Hopefully by time you get to it this week, I'll have got round to doing a proper new list. Anything you want? Any help on putting together a Tvs M, I'm on PM (just about, as getting full again:eek:) or on (and off and on) this thread.)

    T M
    Bart Lemongrass £1.75 vs 48p
Avocado Ripen at Home 4 pack £1.75 vs 99p

In a dream world, lol!:rotfl: Probably be good on the Avocados but who's betting T PP doesn't get the Lemongrass? I think the 4 pack Ripen Avocados aren't available in Sada are they? I can't see any signed in or out on msm - yet, have I seen some comparing on APG a bit ago? - folks, have any of you got them for Mr A on msm/msl? TIA.
I was going to do an AvM but that's not showing on MyS (but neither is the M price of 48p). Will see how i get on and thanks for the PM offer :kisses3:

    Afternoon peeps. :)

Just picked my C&C for the beans. Not happy!!

    I order 32 packs of 7 = 224 tins.
When I got there, there were 3 x 7 tins, 6 x 6 tins and 28 separate tins!!!!!!! 85 in total and they still wanted to charge me £25.60!!

Asked them how they worked that out and they couldn't so they said they'd refund me!!

But told me to keep the beans. :D:D:D
    Result!!! :T
